Missions at Riverside

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Riverside Baptist Church is dedicated to outreach and mission work in compliance with the Great Commission given to the Church by Jesus himself. Through both local and international missions, Riverside Baptist Church is impacting the lives of our fellow men, helping where there is a need, always with the goal of bringing believers into the Light.

Locally, Riverside operates a Food Room ministry that feeds more than 160 families per month.

Our Heart and Hands Ministry provides blankets, stuffed bears, and bags of toiletries to local citizens in need, as well as reaching out to those in prisons.

Every year our Vacation Bible School program reaches hundreds of families in the community.

In addition to our local programs, our international ministry sends volunteer missionaries to countries such as the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, lending a hand to local communities in need. In the Dominican Republic, Riverside has partnered with the community of El Tamarindo, to help build a school, train leaders and sharing the Gospel of Christ. Our Guatemala missionaries provided information to school children in mountain villages on the deadly Dengue Fever as well as spreading the Good News to some who had never heard it.

With these goals in mind, Riverside remains committed to loving mankind both at home and abroad through outreach and missions opportunities.
