IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING VBS REGISTRATION Pre-registration for Vacation Bible School, The Boomerang Express, ended May 24. If your child is not yet registered, they will be accepted on a first-come basis starting Monday, June 8, the first day of VBS. Children not registered should arrive early to the Registration Hall to ensure placement in a class. Please contact the church office if there are any questions.
	What is Vacation Bible School? Vacation Bible School 2009 runs from June 8^th through 12^th from 9am to 12 noon each day. As children wind their way across Australia, they'll discover the vastness of God's love and they'll learn that no matter what they do or where they go in life, it will all come back to Jesus. Vacation Bible School is the largest outreach event for the year at Riverside. We will teach and lead over 700 children during the week of VBS and will involve more that 200 volunteers.
	Our curriculum comes to us from the Southern Baptist publishing house, LifeWay. It is true to the Bible. We will not represent Bible characters as cartoons or inanimate objects, because we want your child to understand the reality and truth of the Scriptures through an entertaining, theme-oriented approach.
	The five-day curriculum is an excellent way that your child will learn through age appropriate methods, the love of Jesus. It will also help to instill in them a Christian foundation that will last them a lifetime. If this is your first year at VBS we know you will be blessed and your child will have a wonderful week.
